Behavior Technician- FT/PT

What we offer for qualified candidates: 

  • $500.00 Incentive Bonus to be paid in 2 tiers:
    • Tier 1: Complete the 40-hrs RBT training or provide proof of the 40-hrs RBT training before new hire orientation and         attend new hire orientation as scheduled
    • Tier 2: Obtain the RBT certification within 90 days of hire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 intervention service developed by a Behavior Analyst on ABA principles for children 18 months and older.
  • Teach individuals with special needs various skills needed for their optimal achievement.
  • Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, implement each client’s individualized treatment and intervention               strategies by providing direct intervention and therapy services to children with autism and related disorders.
  • Work on skills like empathy, emotions, conversation, social skills, communication skills, pragmatic and self-help skills.
  • RBT's create a fun, motivating environment to generate optimal performance for every client, collect data on                      programming targets, and provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers.
  • We provide continuous feedback, training, and support.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
  • Required: 40 HR RBT Course or Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
  • Preferred: High School Diploma, Bachelors or Masters Degree in the Human Service Field with a current RBT                  Certification
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Clean criminal background record
  • Availability afternoons and evenings until 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm weekly. Preference will be given to applicants available            Saturdays 9:00-3:00 pm
  • Able to lift 40 pounds.

**All non-registered BTs are required to obtain their RBT within 90 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative and not all-inclusive.  The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs. may also be required.

Working Environment:

  • Travel between client's homes will be required.
  • Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm. 

Pay Rate: up to $35 hourly.
